On September 19, 2015, Claire-Channel Media – a news, arts and entertainment and lifestyle website – launched their website. In the coming months, we hope to bring you a multi-media website directed towards everyone, not just the LGBTQ+ community, but reaching into the general population to provide news, politics, entertainment, and lifestyle articles.
Our logo, designed by Sissorelle Alice Ferox was months in the making and she is also responsible for the Claire Anarchy symbol some of you have seen on my social media outlets.
By the end of the year, Claire-Channel will launch a Youtube video channel and we are currently working to partner with a queer production company to bring you the best new queer music in your area.
Claire Channel Media is working on a non-profit division that will focus on writing legislation geared towards protecting and extending transgender rights. As of today, two pieces of legislation have been written and we will post those to the non-profit site when it is registered.
During the 2015 legislative session, one bill was presented and gained support; we are currently in the process of getting ready for the 2016 session with additional legislation aimed at transgender safety, health and welfare.
Transpop will be a dedicated space for transgender writers, actors, actresses, and journalists, both veteran and beginner, to tell you their stories of success in the media, activism, and their transitions. It’s intended to be a positive spot to brag about what you’ve been working on.
